Turkey is heaven for seafood, so is Spain, I am sure Greece is no different.

Cyprus seems to be cursed...

Cause Cypriots are confiremd meat eaters from way back. My Greek grandfather would never eat meat if fish was available, my CYpriot grandfather never ate fish, closest he came to fish was fresh water crabs from the irrigation ditch.

And would you believe it, went to Alfa Mega (the big one on G. Digheni) today - and there was plenty stuff!! Live lobsters, oysters and even dog cockles, monkfish (dead cheap at 15 Euro compared to the rest of the world), scallops and packed mussels and clams. OK so everything was on the expensive side - except the monkfish - but STILL!!! I hope they continue bringing this stuff as I haven't noticed anyone buying, except me. Got a big fat monkfish and a bag of clams!

;-)
