wyoming cowboy wrote:But isnt it also the pressures of fitting into todays society what this girl is talking about now, why would she want to be fat and ugly after having a few kids, who would talk to her at a cafe when she is fat and ugly with 3 screaming kids around...

But the pressure to procreate is as much from society as from hormones.

Sometimes it's "trendy" to have kids and other times it's not. Hence, people are influenced by society as to whether they should have babies. So, it's not just down to a biological drive or pressure from a ticking clock..

Besides, overwhelmingly, and probably more so than in women ... men are driven by hormones to pass on their genes. Women tend to be more choosy as to whether they are prepared to take the risk of pregnancy and nurturing..

That's why the peacock has the pretty feathers ....

Hi Emma. You sound too immature.. END OFF. You would not be able to handle a baby. That is why the world is so phucked up today because of people like you. I have had a chi, and I am skinnier now than when I was before the baby. People blame pregnancy and not their eating habits. When you have a child, that child comes before you. You sound like you are too selfish. Your mum was the opposite, otherwise you would not be around to bore us with your crap daily. Stick to what it is that you do best (shagging in public places!!!)

A funny post, but you can't blame her for the mess of the world when she's only been around for one or two decades.

Emma, if you read this just go to a more youthful joint where you’re bound to be more appreciated because us lot in here are mostly between 30 and 70, actually most are around 45! :)

When I first read GR's comment, I processed it as above. No offense intended, just thought it was funny

P.S: I also read " 2. Invasion" as "2. invitation" on the most recently commented threads rotating thingy.

Someone who states that they will not have children because they will get fat just seems too shallow to me!

The CF is your "half-guardian" Umit and we are concerned about your stay and studies in provocative Australia, so you should start posting your end of term grades so unkie GR and auntie Oracle may monitor your progress! 8)

Yes Sir Junkie GR erm no Unkie GR :D

Well I could say I wasn't too happy with last term, I passed all my subjects but could have done a lot better. One thing I have to get through my thick skull is to study crappy subjects I dislike. If I don't like the subject I tend to not give it much attention. Another mistake I made was to work through the exam week, not a good idea. Anyway I'll post my marks here so I can reflect back in about 3 months time when the term comes to an end.

Professional Development: 64

This subject was total nonsense which contained a lot of group assignments, fortunately I had to work with a group of morons

Financial Accounting: 53

I barely passed this subject, i just didn't like the content.

Economics: 75 ( Macro and Micro built into one accelerated unit)

A lot of people found it hard but it was pure logic, found it pretty easy.

International Business Context: 76

A lot of broad topics discussed in this unit, found it quite interesting.

This term I've got

Business Statistics
Information Systems for Business
Contract Law
Management and Organizational Behavior

The most interesting out of the lot in Contract Law, it's got me thinking about studying law as well.
