All Greek songs vary in region. The Greek islands (including Cyprus) have a distinctive sound to them which I am very fond of. Some songs which often get played at weddings in Cyprus are actually from the Greek islands.

Tillirkotissa / Ta Rialia are traditional Cypriot songs but you also get songs like Ikariotiko (Ikaria), I Trata, Mes Tou Maiou etc which are from other Greek islands and Ya Mustafa which is from Egypt.

Emma sorry just realised you wanted young singers - these are traditional folk songs. Emma to be blunt, most of the young Greek singers nowadays are shit.

Some of the most popular Greek singers are Cypriots, like Anna Vissi and Hatzigiannis. And the 1st and 2nd winners of the Greek X-Factor (talent show for young singers) are also Cypriots: Loukas Yiorkas and Nikolas Metaxas.
