I provided you with a source showing the 164 verses of the Koran containing the word 'jihad'. Do you dispute the fact that the word 'jihad' appears in the Koran. This is the word that CNN is interpreting as meaning 'holy war'. If this is wrong, it is up to you to correct the error rather than ranting on about 'anti-Islamic websites'.

By the way, are those who produce what you call 'anti-Islamic websites' guilty of fitna? Do they deserve to be killed?

If you are judging here some Muslims who are criminal that’s fine but if you want to judge a religion then you must go to the root source for example for Islam is Quran and traditions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and The Bible for Christians and so on.

If there is some people killing innocent people on the name of Islam. You should go to root source which is Quran to see if it allows the followers to kill innocent people. In the case if Islam, it is prohibited to kill innocent human being unless it is for murder or spreading the mischief in the land.

If you want to know about any religion, you should not go to anti religious websites or whatever you listen on media but to know from the authenticate source then decide for yourselves.

There is no world “Holy War” mentioned in the Quran and yet one friend mention in the article from CNN that young Muslims are fighting Holy War Against west which is nothing but to mislead people

Can you put my mind at rest by confirming that you are against the killing of apostates under any circumstances. As you are now doubt aware in Somalia recently 4 converts from Islam to Christianity were beheaded . I want to know from you that this barbaric behaviour you find abhorrent just as I do.

Apostasy is similar to Treason in Islam. In most of the countries in the world the punishment of treason is death therefore also in Islam the punishment is death for Apostasy if a muslim leaves the religion and propogate it in a Muslim Country.

It is a despicable uncivilized dictatorial barbaric act and all decent men and women must condemn such cruel inhumane acts.

Let’s correct those Muslims and non Muslims to know the right meaning of Jihad. Even Jesus PBUH him preached to do Jihad.

I have in my possession a book entitled 'A glossary of Gulf Arabic' by Dr Hamdi Qafisheh, who is professor of Arabic and Linguistics in the Department of Oriental Studies of the University of Arizona, USA.

On page 59 of this book I find the entry:

jihaad holy war, struggle, usually against infidels, as a religious duty.

Unless you can explain why you know better than a native Arabic speaker who is also a professor of Arabic at a respected American university, I will accept the above definition.

I sent you the youtube link of a very famous Islamic scholars (DR.Zakir Naik) of our time explaining the meaning of Jihad. I dont know the guy you have mentioned above,
