Done! Also the last question is confusing as would depend on the cost of delivery. If delivery and pick were the same price then of course would prefer it delivered to my door.

Done. Countless times I have needed to borrow or rent a van. Used to all the time in the UK, can't find anywhere in Cyprus that does rent self drive vans out.

Yeah! but its a pain in the arse when its a pleasant relaxed Sunday afternoon and you are the relative with the van, not to mention the ladders and the tools
Amazing how many of the convoluted extended family have nice shiny new or nearly new Mercs Beamers and Range Rovers with UK registrations but not so much as a scewdriver to their name
