No No Rose. He doesn't really mean it. He wouldn't hurt a fly, it’s his granddad that did the damage. I wouldn’t lose sleep over what that toothless pit-bull says.

Strange enough Limniti is like a second home to me. I know quite a few families there and I also expected the reaction of the residents.

If you ever get to Limnidi, try Shefika’s bar. She has a vine that produces the best grapes in the whole of Cyprus.

Considering the amount of GC's your grandmother's been with I wouldn't talk about EOKA if I were you.

My they all rot in hell for what they did to Cyprus, you old toothless bastard. You have to deal with your guilt passed down through the generations and explain it to your future generations. They are going to find out sooner or later.

old? toothless? I'm 33 re artiroskliromene travesta.

Speaking of toothless, I heard your grandmother was famous because of that :D

Ziligurtin nase fai je na se shesi re vromo shilla.

I see you're one of those settlers that has at least made an effort to learn Cypriot. Must be all that GC blood in you.

NAMI SAYS THERE IS NO LEGISLATION REGARDING EXPROPRIATION IN BUFFER ZONE

Special Representative of the TRNC President Mehmet Ali Talat in charge of UN and EU Affairs- Ozdil Nami has responded to the claims issued in the Greek Cypriot media regarding the preparatory work in the area of the Yesilirmak crossing point.

Greek Cypriot media said the two sides might face some difficulties on the issue of expropriation during the phase on road construction.
Speaking to the BRT Newsroom, Ozdil Nami said there is no legislation regarding expropriation activities within the UN-controlled buffer zone.
He also noted that the road on the side of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will pass through the state land.

‘Thus, there won’t be any problems’ he said.

A road, with a length of 6.5 km, needs to be constructed for the opening of the Yesilirmak crossing point.

It is going to be constructed between the villages of Yesilirmak and Pirgo.
Part of the road remaining in South Cyprus has already been constructred and work is underway to construct the rest of it in the buffer zone and on the TRNC land.

Halil, this sounds to me as though the GCs have expropriated some TC land to build the road on their side or the GCs are claiming as theirs the government land Nami has mentioned.
More information as and when you get it please.
