I have one and it is a very good car. Not sure what setup you have on yours, but mine is a "full option" and it's a spaceship! :) The negatives that I can think of are: 1. VERY expensive in terms of fuel consumption. Average 16L/100km (mixed city/motorway). 2. Leather seats! Boiler in the summer, freezer in winter. 3. Massive - not that easy to squeeze into my parking space so have given up on trying. 4. Service is rather expensive. 5. A/C has a weird configuration (well it's an American car) and it's hard to set it to blow in the direction you want it to. It's not as strong as I would like it to be.
Positives: 1. It's a tank! Great visibility over the roofs of the cars in front :) 2. Quite good safety rating. 3. Awesome boot space! 4. With 4.7 engine there is no mountain high enough :) 5. I like the electric seats control. 6. Spacious car, people are comfy at the back.

Enjoy! At 5K it's a good deal.

As in 12 months. Not 6 monthly. You have the choice if you don't want to pay the whole lot at once.

Probably best if he only pays for six months, then he won't lose the money for the other six months when he leaves Cyprus to move back to the UK without paying off the finance and leaving his dogs and cats to roam free.
