Dear all,

Does anybody have an internet phone in Cyprus, and is it? Are they expensive to surf online and is it as easy as using a computer. I am contemplating purchasing those very small computers, but I might go for a phone instead.

I carry around a Eee pc when on the move, you can get them in black or white, there is also a super mini version which are just as good.
If you have wifi you can connect anywhere where ever the access is stupidly unlocked!!
otherwise the apple iphone i hear is a great phone/computor

I saw a google phone android, is seems good, but its not available yet. PSP is also good, but that's not a phone, the new PSP Go is suppose to be coming out which looks exciting.

The iPhone is good, but it's 1000 euros, sucks, and here in the UK they all seem to be locked to networks, which suck even more.

How is the iPhone's internet in CY?

A good friend of ours is 70yrs and lives for his apple iphone, he has downloaded endless programs for it for free!
He sends me all sorts, great for a chap of 70, hes more clued up with modern tech than me!!!

If you are than its 3g when on the move £10 per month gives yopu unlimited internet anywhere you get 3g network. and again you can connect wirelessly via your computor connection at home...

I am in the UK now, but I come to Cyprus often and I wanted the remote internet for when I am there.

I was thinking of the iPhone, but those idiots at apple keep releasing new iPhones every year, it's hard to keep up. I wanted something which did not keep evolving endlessly rendering my mobile device outdated.
