Considering Cyprus has one of the highest traffic related deaths, clearly meaning that people who drive fast while "trying not to kill themselves or others" can't seem to learn the fact that it does not work that way and they obviously have no control over the fate of others and themselves after a certain speed.

Basically all speed related accidents happen because some absolute moron behind the wheel is certain that he/she has total control.

Some stupid delinquent wants to drive his car like a
maniac let him do it on a race truck not on public roads . We have enough stupid plonkers on our roads without more. Speed kills maims destroys families. The irresponsible brainless morons should hire a helicopter and when it reaches speeds of 300 miles per hour , 10,000 ft up jump out without a chute , they should go very fast indeed and satisfy their craving for speed .

Not really. We looked at this last year with stats, and if I remember well Cyprus ranked smack in the middle in Europe. Needless to say that on a global scale she fairs even better.
