This photograph, by a Turkish photoreporter, proves what I always suspected: there was a deliberate policy by the Turkish army to excute prisoners as part of a wider campaign to terrorise and therefore expel the GCs from northern Cyprus. It was the first deliberate policy of ethnic cleansing in the west, and a precursor of the campaigns of Yugoslavia.

The irony is that in the photo, obviously posed for propaganda, a Turkish soldier offers cigarettes to the prisoners of war, then they shot them, but that part is not photographed.

This latest discovery comes as the most direct corroboration of the reports of the Times in late August and September 1974.

These bums want the world to believe they are the best army in NATO!

As the excavations advance we are in for a big shock, when they reach the sites of the greatest massacres in the Famagusta district. Some are under army camps, and there is the usual excuse of forbidden areas etc, but the pressure will become too strong to resist. Then we will see the "best of Nato" in their full glory.

God Bless The Turkish Army.

Very refreshing photo's of the peaceful Turkish intervention. The Army even gives and lights cigarettes for them unlike the photo's we see of slaughtered and mutilated bodies of innocent TC's at the hands of 'cocksucking' GC fascists from the same period.

I hope the army did eliminate these 'cocksuckers'. Such action has undoubtedly saved many TC babies, women and elderly peoples lives. Better them than innocent TC's.

Extincting the lives of these 'cocksuckers' would have been too polite. Hopefully they were trasported to gaols in Turkey like the hypothetical GC claims where they could be treated appropriately by their Turkish Baba's.

Don't be angry, we can still unify the Island and live together again. All we need is for the Turkish Army to finish off the half assed job they did in 74' then the 'Cyprus Problem' will be solved.

This is the classic Turkish mentality and the reason why NO ONE in the Middle East like's the Turks. Im glad you think your army is so amazing - even though they have problem's fighting small militias like the Cypriots and Kurds.

Your a hard man behind your computer.
