First photographed, then murdered

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

There are no "big brothers" and "big sisters". The TCs are the extension of Turkey in Cyprus, as simple as that.

The irony is that in the photo, obviously posed for propaganda, a Turkish soldier offers cigarettes to the prisoners of war, then they shot them, but that part is not photographed.

This latest discovery comes as the most direct corroboration of the reports of the Times in late August and September 1974.

These bums want the world to believe they are the best army in NATO!

I suppose that is why the Atlilar, Sandallar, and Muratağa massacres took place.

What was the reason behind the GC's executing hundreds of civilians who were not even fighters?

Please tell me as I am dying to know.

I don't know...Perhaps it had something to with the Turkish Invasion, and that is not to excuse the appalling crime committed by some fanatical EOKA B lunatic warriors...

But those attacks had nothing to do with the CNG who were busy defending their country and whose honour remains intact.

Perhaps, you could do the right thing and condemn the crimes committed against these 5 CNG POWs and blast Gabira at the same time...it would really mean a lot to me...

Are you ready to condemn this War Crime like I condemn the cowardly acts of EOKA B?

Gabira is well out of order. I will not make any excuses for his posts on this matter. We must deplore any such acts of barbarity whoever commits them. Anyone who supports and defends such actions sould hang their heads in shame. Having been away for a while I have yet to finish reading the thread, butI sure hope I do not come accross anymore rubbish from anyone.

If there is somebody that should fuck off, those are the ones who created the problem by coming to our island and instead of assimilating with the native population and accept to become equal Cypriots, they instead remained separate and an extension of the biggest enemy of Cyprus.

If you want to be Cypriot then you should start acting like one and accept that Cypriots have the right to decide about their own island in a democratic way, instead of collaborating with Turkey to force on Cypriots your own will.

It is crystal clear that you would rather assimilate with other Turks rather than with other Cypriots, therefore the title of "Cypriot" is not one that you will manage to keep for much longer. And it will be your fault, so don't blame me.

Where I belong is the Greek island of Cyprus. For the Turks Cyprus is a destination. Just one of their several conquests along with all other Greek territories. For the Greeks, Cyprus is an origin. We have been on this island since before the term "Greek" was invented, and long before the Greek civilization emerged. We were part in creating what a "Greek" means.

You can continue being a racist prick and have the audacity to expect anything different.

Racism is what divided the island in the first place, this idiot truly believes that more racism would actually fix things, what a clown you are Piratis!

I dont ever recall reading a post by Piratis that was racist.
Piratis has never challenged any of my remonstrations with G/C racists , and there have been many , never once did he come to the defence of those whom I challenged for being blatantly racists.

Of course you are able to challenge those who appear to be racist (at ANY level) since you have disqualified yourself from the ranks of those who might be so inclined, by marrying into your preferred culture.

Such is your mindset, you are unable to come to terms with your own status in that you are a 'Brit' by choice.

Leave the affairs of Cyprus to us Cypriots miltiades, we do not need the assistance of one who may jump sides and scamper at the first sign of danger.

One wonders where you find the nerve to even discuss the future of OUR country, use whatever influence you may dream you have in rectifying the evils of your beloved UK, Lord knows it could do with much assistance. (IMHO)

cough cough !.

No your not.

You're a Turk of Cyprus invader, and have dedicated a whole life at destroying this country, so I think you ned to be honest and accept your identity and move back to Turkey and leave us Cypruiots in peace.
