Just because I'm being nice to a fellow Leo, it still does not change anything...so make good use of it, because my charity and good manners to you will expire in 24 hour....

Thanks... I'll be right here waiting to confront all the dark evil thrown at little Cyprus! 8)

Some of us that live so far away from Cyprus, do tend to put Cyprus on a pedestal...as we don't take Cyprus for granted, and sometimes it can be taken the wrong way or misunderstood. We certainly are not capable of throwing "any evil" towards our little old country under siege.

It was really good reconnecting with our little Cyprus.... 8)

Happy birthday GR! :D :D :D

Happy belated Birthday wishes to you and your twin, Jerry. :D

And Happy Birthday to yet another Leo, Paphitis :D

Get Real! ... the temptation to knock-off a few years increases with age. But I'll take your word for it (just this once), that you are indeed 44 and not 45 ... and please accept my apologies. I guesstimated on the basis you once said you were about 10 years old when the Turks invaded in 1974 (or was that 1571 :? ) ....

Anyway, Happy Birthday to ALL Leos and I'm sure it is no mere coincidence with so many Leos, the forum feels like a jungle :)

Same time next year. August the 4th, when we were kids we used to go to Hyde Park and the Artillery would fire a salute (21 gun?) for us. Later we discovered it was also the Queen Mothers birthday but we did not mind her sharing the celebration with us. They don't fire the guns on our birthday any more for some reason they stopped in 2001, it must be the cuts in military spending.
