Turkey is part of Europe

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I think you're right. Going forward, it would be very difficult to reject a fully democratic, dynamic, eager and progressive Turkey; a Turkey that had come to terms with its past, made peace with its neighbours and adhered fully to EU principles. Indeed, rejecting Turkey would undermine these very principles!

The question is, can Turkey satisfy the criteria? Relinquishing its control on Cyprus is a huge test on the road to proving its credentials. Let's hope for the people of Cyprus, as well as for Turkey, that Turkey's politicians are up to the job of overcoming the military.

Would that be the same as Romania and Bulgaria

I don't remember either invading Cyprus...

Meeting the criteria bullshit.....its a farce.

At the moment all they have to do is open the ports. What is the big deal?
The negotiations will continue and quite a few chapters will be closed.

To do that they have to recognize the GCs and derecognize the TRNC they will ony do that if the isolatıons are relaxed on the TRNC giving it an upgrade as the EU promised.

No, they just open the ports without recognising the RoC. The EU will accept that. The relationship with the TRNC does not need to change.

Why do you care anyway, VP.? Is it not you who does not want Turkey to be in the EU at all cost.?

Shouldn't you be rooting for France, Germany and Cyprus to block Turkey's every move in becoming a EU member.?

As long as Turkey is in the "No Talent Eurovision Song Contest", which is your favourite past time, there is no need for them to be in the EU, just because the Song Contestant countries are located way beyond EU “borders”, just to make you happy.!

Come on VP, lets see those Pom Poms going up and down with chants like,

Turkey, Turkey, no EU.!

Turkey, Turkey, no EU.!

Turkey, Turkey, no EU.!

No need to root for those countries as I know they will do the job for me.

Turks are from Central Asia. The only relation they have with Europe is that they still occupy parts of it!

One of the criteria for Turkey to enter the EU is for us to allow her. You know that this will never happen don't you? So stop wasting your time with Europe. Go back to Central Asia and unite with your brothers there. You don't belong in Europe.
