I think you are about right Wingnut, they have a fair bit to fall yet. When the amateur speculators find they have to sell just to cut their losses I will be ready, I don't need a bank loan just someone who wants to sell a two bedroomed in Larnaca at a fair price.

Property prices always rise in the long term. Land is the most safe investment. The problem is only for those who bought property yesterday hoping to sell today and make a profit. Those that make long term investments on property have nothing to worry about.

Property prices in Nicosia have not been affected much by the crisis. If you are looking for a bargain then you should look in Paphos and the eastern part of the island.
