The Orams have reportedly been left without a lawyer

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It is even more so important not to confuse the 2 if you are planning to live with the same people for the next, well, for ever

Someone stole your house you'd send him a fruit basket?

EU Ctzen, I assume your handle stands for EU Citizen, in which case do us all a favor and read the European Convention of Human Rights, and some EU laws and regulations before you spout your nonsense.

The right to possess and enjoy property cannot be taken away from anyone by anyone in Europe. If you think this is wrong go lobby for a change and leave us alone.

You talk about British values and education enjoyed by Apostolides. Well, in those values is included the love of ones motherland, expounded by Winston Churchill in his "we shall fight them on the beaches" speech. Do you think he was wrong? That he should have been replaced by someone more realistic who would welcome the invading Germans with pints of bitter and the deeds to British property?

Aisihtir pia, mathan oti gamiomaste kai plakosan kai oi gyftoi!

No, shah, it's you who is confusing the two. It's a very fine line. Justice is being sought against the perpetrators of illegalities. And if you think that includes you then you have a guilty conscience.

Depends if they have also participated in attempts to exterminate my family and also if it has REALLY been stolen, or is it just being used by another refugee like me.

The point is "an eye for an eye" will not work if you want peace, just look at Israel, she will never be a real country until they give Palestinians their rights back or until they exterminate every single one of them, it can go on for ever, entire new generation of haters will come every year.

If the GC's are so righteous and assertive of their stance, then should be honest, come right out and say "look Mr. EU and Mr UN, we don't care about justice, we just want revenge"

There just seems to be a problem with all the "we are totally right and you are totally wrong" claim going along with a wish for "revenge" because revenge is not asking for justice, it is continuing the fight under the disguise of "justice".

There is a huge difference and it just will not work...

A reminder- Apostolide's land is not occupied by some distressed TC forced to relocate from the south. It was sold for PROFIT to a non Cypriot.

Under the Annan plan such sales were beyond the scope of restitution. So cut all this crap about revenge and justice etc.

I WANT WHAT IS MINE- since when has that desire been deemed revenge?

If it is wrong then why do we draft things like the Convention of Humanr RIghts?

Maybe some people ought to read a few good books to figure out the standards of civilised society.

I have nothing to worry about, even if the GC's take EVERYTHING back and paint the entire island into blue and white, I will not loose a penny nor an inch of land.

Would I be upset to see the place I call "home" totally destroyed and morphed into something totally new for me purely for the sake of revenge, of course I would.

It started when some genius claimed that he wanted "an eye for an eye" Nikitas.

The South also exploits stolen property.

So what?

Clearly we both need these books

Our island is your island , what is justice to you is justice to us. To see your ancestral home "sold" to some scumbag Brit who audaciously tells us to forget it since we never owned it to begin with !!!!! , as in the case of Doctor Death , is absurd.
