im a beauty therapist and holistic treatments is something you cant have right now. contra-indicated basically means if you have a medical problem in specific are to be treated then you cant have the treatment, you see?
you can go to the chemist and ask for myo gel, its a gel with intensive effect and will help sooth the pain. sure think you can only use this on the area affected if its not in plaster cast!
