What was interesting in the sener Levent article was the notion that union has not happened yet, that it is something left for the future.

To any observer, casual or otherwise, it is obvious that the north has united with Turkey a long time ago. The only visible difference is the right hand drive cars. Everything else is imposed Turkification down to the money used.

So how is it living the dream of Enosis?

It is not exactly Enosis, it is Taksim which so far depends on huge support from Turkey.

Of course is not TAKSIM since if it was then South should be united with Greece. In practice is just onesided Enosis with Turkey.

One sided Enosis with Turkey- that is exactly right Epsilon.

It is one of the ironies of history that the side that fought against Enosis ended up living it. The side that fought against Taksim will in the future get to realise that it is the only option. Funny how things work out sometimes!
