Warning about Rockstar Games and "GTA IV"…

Be warned that the game Grand Theft Auto IV for the PC is a total flop because Rockstar Games have included that a number of obligatory online services be installed and signed up before the game can work even if you’re not interested in online play, including…

“Rockstar Social Club”

“Games for Windows Live”

“SecureROM service (DRM)”

The game is NOT marked as an online only game as it should be so the company, Rockstar Games is engaging in false advertising and unashamedly ripping customers off!

Most dissapointed customers myself included, have had to spend 2-3 hours unistalling it and all the bloat utilities including ".net" it installs and toss it, so keep that in mind if you were planning on purchasing it!

I’ve enjoyed countless hours playing good games on PCs for decades, and there's no reason why people should have an additional metal box with cables lying around the house when they can play games perfectly well on their computers!

And not to mention that you’ve chosen the wrong thread to bitch about your stupid game consoles... :roll:

If you want to play games, then I would advise you invest in a playstation 3, wow its fantastic.
We play games online with really good graphics, and the children play games with other children joining in from all over the world!!!
you can also record dvds, and paly bluray dvd's, it does everything all in one.
Apple tv is good too.

no but ive got GTA IV for the ps3 i was playing it fine with no net connection to the ps3....

seee baby fly got the right idea

ps3 is much better u can dl xvid movies play them on the big tv through the usb online gaming is really good for gta iv u should tyr mode where u all run around and kill eachother

other games online.. the only thign i dont like is when u update firmware on the ps3 u have to update every games patch for that fw and for me it takes ages on this 2,mbit

each to their own i guess some rather the pc a lot more

toxo have you downloaded any free demo games yet/ you must see if you can download the demo for "big little planet" its very good and packed with fun!

yes abut 10 free demos but i delte them quickly to save space i have 160GB of space and its gone so fast
