Phileleftheros: New Turkish provocation – Kokkina port is being adapted for large military ships

Nicosia. New Turkish provocation is about to cast a gloom on the opening of the checkpoint of the dead zone in Cyprus Limnitis, comments the Cypriot Phileleftheros daily.
The Turkish troops have started enlarging the small port close to the small Kokkina enclave, preparing the area for the celebrations on 8 August on the occasion of the Battle of Tiliria in 1964. According to military sources, however, increasing the depth of the port will make it possible for larger Turkish Navy vessels to berth in the small port.

ELDYK is the 1200 odd troops as written in the constitution. No one over here will put up a fight to keep them here.
