Also z4 if this crap is for real, im gutted as we are currently looking for a property set in the countryside, with no neighbours to get on our wick, but this link is quite sad when you wannt to make plans for the better. it just gets worse ggggrrrrrhhhhh

I also found a link dated back to April 2008 from the Daily Telegraph too stating that this poxy bloody government were looking to do this.

What really pisses me off is that we pay tax on everything, or so it seems in this stupid country. Tax payers money just ends up in the wrong bloody places. Bent MP's and their expenses, so I am paying for their bloody light builbs, new extensions and cleaners. It really pisses me off.

We get taxed light sh1t on our wages. We pay council tax, tv licence, stamp duty, tax on petrol, fags and booze. View tax, and wait, they are now even going to start taxing us for parking our bloody car at work! Yes, this is happening in Nottingham.

Bloody hell, they tax us for having us bus stop outside our house and then tax us for parking at work. They are trying to encourage us to use public transport. Either way the gits have got you.

As you can tell - I am pissed off with the greedy swines.

NO it was not, it was one way! the toll in dartford is around £2.50 approx. the one up north was far too much, when we returned we made sure tom tom avoided the toll. to me it seemed very greedy indeed.
and as for public transport in the uk, it cost £108.00 for me and my partner to travel from birmingham to east anglia one way!!!!
For me that was the last time i would use public transport, thought the uk gov were encouraging people to use p.t not trying to p**s them off so they dont use it again

You will never beat those swines baby. There was news report on Sky last week about train companies ripping the consumer off. Everything just goes up and up in price. It's about time something happend.

Birmingham to East for £108 is well over the top.

All these are reasons to leave this hell hole but is the grass greener over there?

Yes, sick to death of all the things going on over here. Too much greed, too much doom and gloom, too many mistakes but moving to a new country (especially now) is a gamble.

I would need to have a job or business up and running if I were to move over.

well its a tough one to say the least! I went to cy for a month before i moved and in that month found a good job which paid then £800cyp per month and found a house. so it wa set up really before the big move.
if you have family you have to think about whats best for them too. its a massive step to take, but going by the way you are talking you will always wonder if you dont do it!
It would be a gamble if you were to set up a business in cy right now, so working for someone would be better.
when i first moved to cy i was given some useful advise from a local, who told me the best time to move to cy is in the winter as its quiet, and if you can survive there in the winter on a farley basic income youve made it and would defo be okay in the summer!!!
im going to bed now, so will leave you think about it!!!!
have a good night sleep and sweet dreams
