Now please explain that to me, how does being Christian actually teach you to use initiative and not to be blind?

Sounds like a FAT oxymoron to me...

Well lets examine the fundamentals:

Muslims are forbidden to eat pork - Christians can CHOOSE whether to.

Muslims are forbidden to drink alcohol - Christians can CHOOSE whether to.

Muslims must pray 5 times a day - Christians can CHOOSE when to pray.

Muslim women must dress modestly - Christians can CHOOSE whether to.

Muslims must fast during ramadan - Christians can CHOOSE whether to fast during lent.

Muslims have to be circumcised - Christians can CHOOSE whether to.

Christianity used to be in the dark ages, but came out of this during the European period of enlightment, something that Islam seriously needs to go through.

people should be free to believe in want they want i think.
perfect example when in the uk my son of 7 attends a tiny school set in the grounds of an estate manner. the school used to be a large thatched house and has only 28 children attending, im blessed with this as its a state school! he is not allowed to go with his hair spiked and the dress code is very stricked as it is in all schools, threfore if thats the way it is then thats the way it is. (this is slightly irelavent i know)!
but one thing i would like to know is why a few years ago a muslim girl was attending a uk state school, wearing what she believes she should wear, for the school to disagree and insist she wears sticks to the school rules and wear the same as everyone else.
from what i can remember her parents took them to court and i believe she won. this to me is wrong, i personally think she should of respected the country she was in for starters, or should the school have respected her beliefe???? :?

to be honest i believe in F*** all!! but i chooses that, i dont mind that, what annoys me is other ppl tellin me what should nd shouldnt believe in!! ..
thanks all to be honest every reply to my post just shows me that its up to me to believe in so what ever i want since every one have his/her believes why shoulnt i , my parents are muslim YES but should i be ! the thing is its not allowed to convert in islam or the islamic law will take an action against you witch is basicly killing you for that so we dont find muslims talk about thier opinions about islam cause it wont change a thing it is what it is, i refuse to be that way, i dont expect people to agree with me specially muslims but at least i expect ppl to respect my choices and live with it .. not thritining attacks for the name of allah, ! ppl telling me im bad, im going to hell! i dont need no body to tell me whats right and whats wrong!! and i find it very racest to be attacked for my believes, and if im the only person who think that then something wrong in the world we live in

This sounds like nothing but the "slimmed down" version of Christianity being compared to what an ignorant Christian thinks of Islam

Nothing you have listed up there is a MUST, unless you are living under Sharia law in which case it is turned into a MUST, and it still doesn't reflect individual beliefs but it reflects what some radical leaders force up on the people.

Plus the Islamic world were having their "enlightement" when you were living in the dark ages.

That is something you need to learn about.

However since the fundamentals of both ideologies are built up on silly fairy tales, let me make it perfectly clear that I think they are just as ridiculous as each other.

Just because Christians are more "aesthetic" in some way's and managed turned themselves into being the religion of the bourgeois/aristocracy around the world, does not mean they are any "better" or any less "irrational".

So without having to get into the semantics of each belief, I can easily say that both Christians and Muslims are full of shit!
