The Doom & Gloom will follow if Turkey does not act to open her ports to the RoC. It looks like she will come December, which will allow her to continue with her EU talks, hence saving her economy from going under.
More doom and gloom you predict this everytime but nothing happens, dont you feel stupid because you really look it.
Will you apologise if nothing happens to Turkey once December arrives and goes.
Take a breath and not so fast. So you think Turkey will only open her ports if the EU allows everything they promised the "trnc" in 2004 (what were they, by the way), when the EU has already told Turkey that those are two different matters al together and are unrelated, and they are. But in order for Turkey to save some face, I think the RoC will allow some limited concessions in order to get the ball rolling, but it will not be the EU who would allow this, but the RoC. Perhaps open the Famagusta port under a joint operation with the EU for Verosa, which you have said no once before. Anything else major, not likely. So what will you do when Turkey recognises the RoC which will in essence would mean unrecognising the "trnc". ??
Watch and learn the stance of Turkey will bring pressure upon the GCs to yield to issues that will remove some of the isolation on the TRNC, GCs have to pratice what they preach that they respresent all "Cypriots" and that everyone deserves their rights, this tit for tat GC attitude will be their downfall as the Europeans soon realize that GCs are not european minded and will always act stubbornly and bloodey mindedly with TCs whom they claim are part of their people.
Apologise for what. So far you have made a 180° turn by telling us that Turkey will open her ports when for the longest time you claimed this would not happen. First you said that the EU will have to keep all it's "promises" it made in 2004, when in fact the EU body did not do such thing, to now only asking for “relaxation of isolation”. This can mean anything, and as I said, the RoC may allow some limited concession that will involve the joint operation with the EU, such as the Famagusta port. How would extending the EU talks to Turkey make any difference, other than delaying the inevitable when ever it happens. According to the EU, it is all happening (or not) this December. If the EU wants to extend, so be it, it does not change the long term obligations for Turkey to meet..
I stated that Turkey will not open her ports when you said she would, now that the EU have pressurized the GC side into compromising Turkey can open her ports. It all adds up and helps us move towards our goal. Where did I say the Eu have to keep all their promises? I said they have not kept their promises so the TCs do not trust them with their security. The extention buys Turkey even more time as you yourself say with more time nothing stays the same and matters can change in Turkeys favour as the Eu sees who rejects the next round of negotiations.
I have no problem apologising to anything if warranted, but if someone were to spit in my face as you said you intend on doing upon ever meeting me, then they will get the same treatment as I promised you, which is that they will be drinking their food through a straw for a very long time.!
Again you show that you are not a TC as you would have understood the above saying and not taken it so literally.
I will await your apology after December but I wont hold my breath.
