A very sad day for football.
Sir Bobby Robson died today (31.07.20009) aged 76 after a long battle with cancer.
Rest in Peace Sir Bobby. x
(yes, I know I have posted this on the football thread, but on reflection, I thought Sir Bobby deserved his own thread!)

Yes, he was a legend.
I don't know him personally but so many people said so many nice things about him.
He has been Englands best manager in the 20-30 years, easily.

I had the good fortune to go to the World Cup in 1990. Bobby Robson created an excellent team that nearly won the competition.
