Do you know that you have already agreed to BBF?

let's be clear...

a Unitary State and two (or more) National Assemblies; three governments: Bicommunal

an island, Sovereign, represented by a Federal Government as one territory, having Communities; two or several, with administrative powers, providing services over its part of the geography: Bizonal

two governments, and the island torn in two is not BBF.

...Cyprus dear Christine has no "motherland". Cypriots have determined through their own efforts their lives long before Greece and Turkey existed. It is only with the Modern Age that we have had an opportunity to end the subjugation under which we have lived for thousands of years. Greece, your "motherland", does not have the credibility to be anything more than an interlocutor, and although an ally, not unlike Turkey, or Britain in this consideration. We who are Hellenes, for that matter, are not unlike other Grecophones around the globe; we are not "Greeks".

Look YOU dont get it Viewpoint, what makes you think that Turks even belong here? Why do you get a say in what kind of government we have?

How ignorant, firstly im not a Turk I am a Turkish Cypriot with Turkish origins and we own this island so we have a say so wise up and try to at least act intelligent tall order I know.

When did you suddenly own the island? Oh, when you illegally invaded?

438 years proves you wrong.

438 years? ...still "own" the island, it was leased to Britain, and then lost:
remember the Treaty of Lausanne, or is it as I have been saying, that too your Turkish motherland dismisses...

VP if you are a Turkish Cypriot, then you would know that as a Cypriot we had the most socialised country in the world, before the "mixed" were identified, along with the "Turk" and the "Greek".

Yes, but the TCs have already lost ALL the island. Look around at the place, with flags, statues of Kemal, slogans on every other building, the Turkish army in control of most facets of life, mosques sprouting like mushrooms. Is this the picture of a TC state? You are kidding yourself.

This is our problem and we do not view it like you, what you need to understand is it is preferred to what you have to offer.

...yes indeed, you and 50.6% of the Turcophones living in the north, hardly impressive, given the efforts Turkey has made to wipe out any self-representation Turkish Cypriots have by introducing a majority of "settlers".

Come on  It is a shame that you of all people should start using the well over used "Turk" card. Not that I find being called a Turk offensive......Just add Cypriot at the end..... 8) I saw you more as a rounder upper of ALL cypriots not the exclusionist that I see every day calling themselves "Cypriots". I suppose that would qualify you as a "Cypriot" as in the 60s....
