I also recommend the Avanti village just 5 minute walk towards town and that's where you will also find the Ocean Basket seafood restaurant. Yummy!!!

I love Paphos too (well certain parts of it). But I'm just another tourist helping to prop up the economy :wink:

I keep hearing lots of good things about the Ocean Basket but have never tried it - will have to do so next time I'm over :D

Book before you go. It's always full. The king prawns and the sushi is very very nice. :)

Thanks for the tip Kafenes.

If you fancy trying another fish taverna, then I've always had a good meze at the Filiotis (just off the airport road). Great position right next to the sea and the squid is fantastic :D

haha i will give the seafood a miss, we stayed at avanti village 2 yrs ago, just a bit expensive for what u get,

OK, but you can always drop into the Paphos Amathus hotel across the road for a drink at the piano bar. I hear they have a really good singer there. :)
