If Israel has the right to "exist" in such violent means, then please don't expect to get much credibility in your opposition of the TA existing on this island.
I presume you mean the Turkish Army . Undoubtedly I oppose their presence as an occupying army on Cypriot soil . The entire world sees the T/A as one of occupation not one of as you put it " existence"
I see, and how were we going to "exist" if the TA had not intervened?
I am sure Makarios or Sampson both had planned a wonderful future for us
But yeah, the Israeli's have a right to "exist" on other peoples land, bulldoze their homes, terrorize them with snipers, regular aerial and land assaults, isolate the people with concrete walls, so they get no food, no energy and no medical supplies, block all sea fronts and airspace of the people, expand at will and make way for more of their own settlers, while keeping a country divided and controlling everyone's movements, restricting everyone's freedom of movement with check points all over the place.
This has been going on for over 50 years and Israel has probably broken more International Law's and UN resolutions, than any other country.
Not even going in to the death tolls!
What argument could you
possibly have regarding the situation on this island, if you have already admitted that you are supporting all of these crimes above, because you believe that Israel has a right to "exist"?
Which of these above is considered as a "right" to you Miltiades?
