Limnitis/Yesilirmak

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Limnitis/Yesilirmak

Postby halil » Thu Jul 30, 2009 4:40 pm

On the Limnitis issue, early next week the UNDP-PFF (United Nations Development Programme - Partnership for the Future) will issue a tender document inviting proposals for an assessment on the the improvement of the road -- the 6.5 km stretch of road between Limnitis/Yesilirmak and Kato Pygos -- and that document will be out hopefully on Monday, but certainly early in the week.

I hope they improve the mountain crossing from Lefke into Limniti too. Otherwise you may lose more people than you are trying to save in accidents.

Not thousands Palio, Limniti is not that large and they are used to that road.

Lefke to Yeslilirmak?

Postby cymart » Fri Jul 31, 2009 3:33 pm

Which mountain road do you mean? The old dirt-track roads through places such as Gunebakan and Kurutepe etc. have been closed since 1974.....as far as I know there is only one road in and out of Yesilirmak which is open and that is the main one to Bademlikoy and Yedidalgi?

With all these Turkish names of villages and places i feel that we are speaking about the Sultanate of Oman.
