In greek that is known as papoutsosika, I thought in english they called it cactus fruit.



Too many names for Cypriots to learn.

In villages babutsosiga/ Babutsa/baboutsosiga(that pesky 'K' an'G' again :roll: )

Later in Turkish Misir inciri (Egyptian fig)

In English: cactus fruit, prickly pear. They are all the same fruit

my fav fruit is mango baby yum yum, my fav veg is potatos specially when mashed :) :)
