LONG LIVE AMERICA , THE ONLY NATION THAT HAD IT RECOGNIZED THE "TRNC" EVERY OTHER NATION WOULD HAVE FOLLOWED.
LONG LIVE THE GREATEST ( AFTER CYPRUS , ALL OF IT ) NATION ON EARTH.
Put that in you pipes and smoke it you anti American stooges !

Nikos , the Cypriots DO NOT Hate America and its people we hate some of their actions that were detrimental to our interests but beneficial to theirs.
We applaud the American governments' past and present for steadfastly , and under immense pressure from Turkey , refusing to recognize the "trnc" and recognizing the immense efforts of our RoC diplomats as well as our American Cypriot brothers who lobby on our behalf.

Sounds reasonable, until you realise that the troops, essentially, have become the root of the problem; and their presence prevents any solution.

And all the regime in the north can do is 'play statues':

Why is it that when someone says something pro GC its applauded and when its pro TC its interference. I was under the impression we wanted a Cypriot solution for Cypriots by Cypriots.
We have nothing to learn from America what so ever. They are the most corrupt nation on earth. They started this problem like almost all the other problems in the world and we pay the price. They wouldn't see democracy if it hit them in the face. Supposedly the richest and the most powerful country on earth with 50 million people below poverty line. No Thank you, pass the soup bowl. Shame we don’t have our own Al Capone like the GCs.

The TC's wish for the Turks to be there until the peace agreement. That’s why they are there. About 1% of TCs do not agree with that sentiment.

Turks are not Cypriots but the Turkish Cypriots are as much Cypriots as any other Cypriot.

What Turk's see as a 'peace agreement' is what the rest of the world would called hostage demands. Fuck Turkey and all those like you who want to see our home turned into the back end of Anatolia.

That sounds very in denial, if you truly believe that the troops are the core of the problem while ignoring the reason for them to be here.

First we solve our internal issues then the troops go, I personally will NEVER vote for the opposite...

Here is the problem.

Turkey says that the troops will be pulled out of Cyprus once a settlement is reached.

But what happens if Turkey does not want a settlement in Cyprus or a settlement she does not agree with.?

It's the "Chicken and the Egg" situation as to what comes first.!

See the problem.!
