However, I still believe that none of this matters when it is clear that you had more rights and a better system under the Ottomans which made you a LOT more prosperous and controlling than ever as well as your Church being more autonomous and free than before.

Get your pea-brain out the Turkish arse and into factual history books.

It seems like only yesterday when we quoted what Lord Kitchener said upon going through Cyprus.

Lord Kitchener arrived on HMS Humber on October 17, 1878 and commented:

"...the island had been in a thoroughly exhausted and ruined condition, for the Turkish system took all it could and gave nothing in return.”

I have a sense of Deja Vou here. A pointless argument, as no two authors will agree on anything. The issue is whether the author is a Turco/Grecophile. None of these sources are written by Otto's so they cannot be Turkish propaganda.

Once in my life I read a Turkish history book and I decided never to read Turkish sources again. It only claimed that the GO invited the Otto's to invade to save them from the Venetians. It may or may not be true, but it would serve no one in any debate as it would have been ridiculed by the GC's.

European sources fare no better as it does not serve the history re-writers.
Never mind Kitchener, what about your messages from 1571?

Blah blah yakity yak ... so you had a book!

Give up little wannabe Greek ... the Turks have distorted our history so much, that you would have to undergo a massive desensitization programme in order to start from base ....

One brain not needing de-sensitisation belongs to me. I make up my own mind. I NEVER listen to propaganda. You missed my point b miles Oracle. But whats new.

I am quite happy with what I am. I have no aspirations to be anything else. I just see things as I believe they are using common sense. Now you are using that Runaways language. You must be best friends to quote him.

You know, I was about to comment about the similarity between them but then thought best not to stir. I bet Oracle has some Garasakal in her. She must do, most Greeks must.

I doubt if anyone can prove beyond doubt to have any ethnic purity in the Balkans, Greece or Asia Minor and Cyprus. If they make any such claim, then they are deluded. I am referring mainly to the Turkish speakers and Greek speakers. But that is a different topic.

If instead you think we should love you; please tell me why we fight so hard to stop you ruling us?

And, why do you fight so hard to impose your rule over us ... to this day, if you haven't been accustomed to always ruling us since you invaded?

Because since you came to this island, you have slaughtered not only the Venetians with whom we had a stable society, co-existing as best we could, practicing our religion etc. .. But, you also destroyed our administrative rights over our own land ... which the Venetians never did. Instead they learnt GREEK, and married amongst and had a compatible religion!

Why do you now want a piece of Cyprus, without us?

Because you cannot stomach capitalist competition alongside us unless you have MORE than your rightful power!

Admit it shah, history books (unimpaired by Turks), and the continuing daily history of our island prove that you want to rule us or you cannot stomach living with us, equally!

You are doing it again, totally ignoring all the evidence put before you.

Everything you said just now has been documented to be the opposite.

You were not compatible, you did not like the harsh rule of the Venetians, they hated your religion and screwed you economically as did the Kingdom, on top of it all you had NO power, you were nothing but serfs, meaning you owned NOTHING, other than the job you had to work in.

What the hell are you talking about?!

On the other hand, we had no problem with your religion, we had no problem with your language as both languages were spoken by ALL till very recently, we had no problem with your Church's autonomy nor your economy AND the famous Greek xenophobia has been mentioned in various books very rightfully.

We don't want to rule anything Oracle, we just want our rightful place in our own country, but since we have the curse of having to share our national identity with the most xenophobic and racist people on Earth we need reasurements that you would not back stab us again or even try to murder us all, that is it.

There is absolutely NO evidence what so ever to suggest that we want to rule you, this is absolute and utter bull shit.

I am starting to believe you are mentally crippled Oracle, you make no sense but insist on what ever you wish it was true, it is called delusion, I have told you before.
