All “Evkaf land” is STOLEN Cypriot land by the Ottoman invaders starting from 1570 and how the Ottomans “justified” their theft is besides the point, but thankfully the British administration had set the record straight when in 1944 they passed the "Immovable Property Law” which returned the great majority of this stolen land back to the Greek Cypriots.

“Efkav” was Ottoman-CONFISCATED Cypriot land throughout the island, supposedly “set aside for Allah” but in reality it was being commercially exploited to the max by the corrupt and oppressive Ottoman community, at the expense of Cypriots.

Ever since the 1944 "Immovable Property Law” came into force, most of this stolen land was returned to the rightful indigenous Cypriots over successive counter-confiscations conducted by the British administration of Cyprus so what the hell do you think is left of “Efkav land” today? Not much…

Everything in Cyprus is build on Cypriot land. No foreign and long gone empire can have any claims on our land. Lets not forget that "Turkish Cypriots" are nothing more than Turkish Settlers from the first Turkish invasion. After the end of Ottoman rule not only they didn't own anything on our island but they were also supposed to leave from here and return to their homeland.

When the UK annexed Cyprus, a consul was sent here from Turkey. This was because at that time there was no such thing as a Cyprus problem in Turkey. The Turks on the island were supposed to return to Turkey. Thus a consul was sent to simplify these procedures. It shows how different the vision was in those days.

You were under the rule of many others when the Ottoman came Shitos, you never actually owned anything here EVER.

I know it is hard to fit this into your tiny little brain which has long been "crusted" by your faulty history books, but you should take comfort in the fact that MANY historians around the world would agree on this fact, so no need to worry about understanding, just take it and go play elsewhere

Cyprus had many foreign rulers. Where are they now? This is why they are called foreign rulers. Cyprus does not belong to foreign rulers. You can only force your rule for as long as you have the power. When your power runs out say goodbye to Cyprus because Cyprus belongs to Cypriots and not to any foreigner like you.

How come NO CLAIM on Varosha was made till a couple of years ago? Why did no one of the TC community bring up this claim in the 50s, 60s?

Simple, there was no valid claim. Evkaf land is a non issue. If it becomes an issue then we must look at monastery land in the same light- that of a pre existing claim by a religious insitution and we will find tha the Orthodox Church owns most if not all of Cyprus.
