While I was there in June I was informed that there are a few Fire Service retiree's in Cyprus/Paphos. As I am to, it would be useful to make contact as I have a few (not too many, honest!) questions relating to pensions etc when moving to Cyprus. I have a fair bit of info but it is always better talking things through with people who have been through the process...

i wasnt in the fire service , but i was a very active arsonist,{before i retired in 2005} maybe we know each other?
ware were you based?
do you remember the cutty sark back in 2002? that was me. and the great fire of london?
yeah that was me too.

Nice one "It's me"... It's a bit crazy, but that could be true! We never really got to meet the people who "kept us in a job", we would just read about the court appearance, the sentence and pick up our overtime.... so if its true, thanks, I owe you a beer!!
