The Unifying Power of the Cypriot Peoples' Language

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I am not suggesting that Kibrisilja and Sanna should be neglected by the way.

Gibrislija is a language slowly eradicated by the new 'intellectual' cadre.

May I just say in reply that nothing illicit has entered my

May I also just shout....

PREPARE YE THE WAY FOR REUNION!

It may be a while away yet, and on what terms - who knows, but it is coming and it might be as well for both comms to be able to speak to one another in some common language (other than English and the "motherland" ones).

A common language that has deep and long roots in the CY earth.

What is your problem with exploring ideas and new ways of thinking, that you have to keep trying to find ways to ridicule?

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

Let it go. If we're talking nonsense you've got nothing to worry about... keep talking your dialect; keep being looked down on by Turks.

And if you've nothing intelligent or constructive to contribute, and you want to have a laugh, there's an 'Entertainment' or 'Jokes' section entirely for this purpose.

Now run along, little man...

Firstly there is nothing wrong with exploring ideas, what I'm against is fabricating facts and trying to impose them on others. Let's say what you are saying is true, whatever Cypriot language your talking doesn't exist anymore.

Secondly, I never change the way I speak Turkish and have never been ashamed of it. What some illiterate Turk may think doesn't the least bother me.

Last but not least, well I was gonna take a dig at you but I'll leave it be.

That's a relief. You had me worried there.

Who's fabricating? Who's imposing?

Not true. It does. And people are keeping it alive.

Good for you, umit. I am proud of you!

Good. Glad you thought about it and pulled your punch. You have my respect.

Cyprus is CYPRIOT you fool. Anything else is a foreign lie; garbage that you and your snotty teenage hooligan friends have swallowed... and which has done untold damage to the island and all its people.

I say 'Gibros'.... some purists might even say 'Jibros'. Now don't bother me any more. You're beyond redemption... I only pray, with your cretinous behaviour, that Yialousa itself isn't.

No it's Kypros (Κύπρος), cretin :!:
