For the first time ever, I am in agreement with Viewpoint.

Houston we have lift off....

Well done VP ... The Turks have another recruit!

"The Cypriot" is "The Turk"

Anyone who doesn't subscribe to your warped world view is a "Turk", Oracle...

Have a look here to see how many of us there are:

Ignore that Turk hating shit stirring ignorant bitch I do, works wonders.

VP, no need to be that rude. I think you'll find that she is plenty upset just by the replies she is getting from both sides.

She deserves everything she gets, bitter dried up frigid cow.

I know, but she wasn't being rude at the time. Rudeness should be in equal measure in a reply.

OK you are right I apologise.

OMG, now we are really getting somewhere.

Carry on "The Cypriot" and "bill c." communicating with the Turks who speak your language.

When? :?

Even The Cypriot has admitted (by comparison to Spanish and Portuguese) that CY is a dialect of Greek! :D

.... or do you not understand English?

Que?

Our dear O, a minority, albeit a vociferous minority, of one member, does not agree that CY is a Language. Surely we must be consistent and allow the majority view to preview, with perhaps a note of the single dissenting view so that we may move on?

:P ...... ........ :D

Unless you are blind, deaf and dumb ... then you should have noticed that the Official language of the RoC is Greek and not CY.

According to the 1960 constitution. Stuff it!

It was designed by foreigners to fail us and fail us it did!

It didn't fail us because we spoke Greek. It failed us because they tried to introduce other languages ...

"The Cypriot" ... you fail to understand how Cypriots can be masters of the Cypriot dialect and yet conduct discourse in Greek as necessary. It's hard for you, because of being brought up in the parochialism of North London.

But we are more than capable, us Cypriot citizens.

Are you beside yourself with glee at the thought of "The Cypriot" carrying out your Turkification of the island?

Oh what joy in the north ....

It's not hard for me at all in north London, within the circles I move in. It's why I question this needless diglossia... because, with English, here, it's triglossia...

You're like a child.... Nah, nah, nah-nah, nah! I've got a passport.

You're part of Europe now, you ignorant Cypriot peasant. Discriminate against me and I'll take you to court and win.

Are you trying to assassinate my character, Oracle?

If I were to be attacked in the street by an ignorant, flag-waving teenaged neo-Nazi thug, I would point to this thread as evidence that you had been inciting hatred against me.

Listen little Yank-inspired litigation-madman. There are different laws which apply to citizens of one country and another, even within the EU ... and you cannot sue for discrimination ... just as you cannot sue for discriminatory toilets for men and women, when equal sex laws apply. Some things are just different. If you want to be a Cypriot Citizen and have equal rights in Cyprus, you need to do Military Service or seek justifiable pardon. Until then, don't expect to have the same say in Cyprus ... all the way from London! It's my Cypriot brothers you jeopardize, and I won't have it!

The Cypriot, just the thought of that qualifies you as a Turk. And Oracle, what language do you use every day?

I think we should have a poll stating if they are GC or TC, and what language they use daily.

Really .... I thought everyone loved you?

You only have to attack me and you send VP into spasms of love for you!
