Exactly what Turkey is promoting . Shame on you !!

Basis we have to avoid Turkey's promotions lets be Indians or Elephants.!!!Shame on you.

Don't be so daft , let us be what we currently are.
THE REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS,
Can you not see that you are indirectly sponsoring and promoting the Turkish position ? If you can not there is no doubt a problem with your comprehensive abilities .

ps. Why is it " shame on me" ? for being a Cypriot fully supporting the position of the worldwide recognized ROC ?

Meltiade, you are long time in this forum and i do not therefore feel that is necessary to explain my signature again to you- I did this more than 5 times and ,as you already know , it has nothing to do with partition .[/

It has everything to do with partition and you know it .You are supporting the Turkish position as against the RoC and the international forum that recognizes one Cyprus . Your signature is divisive and plays right in the hands of the Turkish propaganda. You must be very naive or at least very young not to see that.

Your theories and supports are guiding us directly to partition. If Turkish side supporting taksim all these years and you are moving closer and closer to their position then the final solution will be the middle field.
You are not the only one who can not understand this basic rule in politics (even many of our politicians can not).

I am almoast convisted that in case ROC accept taksim Turks will move further requesting union with Turkey.

Can you remember what was the Turkish side position / target about Cyprus in 1964? What is the difference of their position today- nothing-exactly the same "TAKSIM"

What was our target position that time and what is today? 1 million miles away.Do not tell me that our old target was the reason of the invasion because you will be absolutely wrong. The reason of invasion was AA.Long time plans of Turkey BB.A junta regime in Greece.

Explaing my self, once more, i consider Enosis as a wrong policy from the early begining - A separate, indepedent Greek state in Cyprus in 1955 -1960 WOULD BE MUCH MORE EASILY ACCEPTED BY BRITISH.

But now under the circustances, quoting ourselves as simple Cypriots (similar to T/cs) we just giving to Turkey the right to be our guarantor .

Cyprus problem solution should always be based (after 1974) on a GREEK popularity and Turkish minority target. If our politicians were stuck on this fact the middle field of the solution would be much better than Annan plan believe me.(fyg the middle field is not decided by Turks or us but is sponsored by the international community in similar cases).

Turks proved many times to play this game of the middle field i.e Aegean-requesting blsheets and finally will get something, Thrace-they are requesting dreams but finally will get something. So many years our politicians ,as we, should learned from Turks.

Why? Where's the logic in this? Cyprus, in Europe, aligned to the west, needs guarantees from no one...

I have nothing but barbarism to learn from the actions of Turkey in Cyprus.

According to this Turkey is cosying up to the Russians. I wonder what the Turkish military think about it and how will the Americans respond? Are they going to put the squeeze on Europe's energy supplies? Will the EU sacrifice Cyprus to appease Turkey?

Turkish speaking I am, try merhaba kibrisli kardesim, kabul edersan, seni londoraya kave icmeye daviyet ediyorum. Ben kibrisliyim, ve umarim sende kibrislisin ama rumca konusan.

Wow, point Dexter go easy… :?

As can be seen, my Turkish is not the best in the world, but I still get by reasonably well under any given situation. I was born in Cyprus, but now live in London and Cyprus. I spend six months here in london and then six months in cyprus. unfortunately, due to the divide I now live in the tukish quarter of nicosia but used to live in larnaca before 1974 where I hope to one day return. I hope that clears things up. I have read a few of your old posts and hope that we can agree on a unitary peaceful state of all cypriots within a bi-communal government. Cyprus is unique, and we should all be proud to be a citizen of its republic. thanks.

With a mentality like that it's hard not to like you KT...

Correction Andreas with due respect his own kind are Cypriots like you and I !!
The extremists are no ones kind apart to other extremists. This guy is so representative of the vast majority of T/Cs who live in the UK and may I say he is most definitely our kind , a true Cypriot.
