GG ... if you are going to analyse what he said, instead of making assumptions as whom it applies ... you're going to have to quote him as evidence for any stance!

"Let us all unite!"

What is your stance to which this quote applies?

The 43,000 Turkish troops keep us divided with their guns, perhaps?

Sam wrote:"Let us... do away with national barriers."

And what of those barriers set up by the green line which the Turks claim as their "border"?

I am an anti-nationalist, and an internationalist.

I think the European Union is a glorious thing. (Everything is exploited by some venal fools, and the EU is no different; but it has still prevented violent conflict between its members, and as a citizen of one of its members, with friends and family in other members, I am grateful.)

You must know by now that I am against the Turkish occupation. If you do not, I may refuse to speak with you ever again. But if you do, why ask that question?

I would like to see all barriers between all people collapse. I know it will not happen, but I would like it to.

It was in case you thought the GCs had a choice in uniting with the Turks and decided against unity per se.

I would like to see all barriers between all people collapse. I know it will not happen, but I would like it to.

I share that vision, but believe one day it will happen ...

Leave O alone Deniz. She is a recent convert to freedom. Perhaps she will not mind the settlers leaving TRNC to settle in the free ares as she no longer believes in borders

We let in so many, whats the problem. Its a matter of secuirty. When they sign the peace deal, I have no doubt that in a short space of time, it will be relaxed to the satisfaction of all GCs including the oddball TC on the forum.

I am partial to Marathon myself, and I don't mean the running kind, because that is just too greek.

A double apology is due Yfred.

The poser was who said, " our borders are at the end of our swords ". I should have made that clear, also there was a typo error. I typed out swords by error. I hope that is clearer.
