Perhaps the best way to show allegiance to Greece would be for Cyprus to pool their resources with Greece? After all, Cyprus keeps claiming to be doing alright during this world wide recession - whilst their beloved 'motherland' is going down the financial crapper.

I find it quite sad that Cypriots cannot contemplate owning their own 'identity'. And that they still keep calling for 'other countries' and 'greater powers' to intervene, help them out, fight their enemies and what have you. Not very 'independent' at all really.

Thats not quite true Oracle, Cypriots also fly the Greek flag, we consider both the official ROC flag and the Hellenic flag ( its the flag of all Hellenes, not just flag of Greece ) as ours....Dont listen to the nonsense that "The Cypriot", GR and Miltiades talk about on here.
