Problem is the “TRNC” is not even recognized by the OIC, but classifies Turkish Cypriots under the “OIC Observer States, Communities, Organizations & Institutions” under the label… “Turkish Cypriot State”!

So how can a non-existent to the OIC entity make any demands?
“Turkish Cypriot State”!
I think the OIC needs to update their data since the "government" in the north claims that there are no more Turkish Cypriots in the north, but only "Turks in Cyprus". Looks like "Turks in Cyprus" will need to apply to the OIC to become a "observer state", again, before they can DEMAND to become a member.!
So should that now become the “Turks in Cyprus state” or the diminished “state of the Turks in Cyprus”?
