This was the ottoman way of doing things and it didn't changed after turkey was formed.
It happened to the Armenians the kurds and pretty much everywhere the ottomans/turks laid their paws. The evidence is real, is documented and against facts there are no arguments.
My question is, where was the international community when all these atrocities were taking place? better yet, where was Greece...? I don't understand how can some G'c still wave the greek flag when they turned there backs at you in the hours of need.
Also i struggle to understand how can the T'c sit proudly on a bogus country build over the blood of so many innocent and living on hand outs from turkey... You the people who once where the more enterprising in Cyprus and fundamental to the economy of the isle. Yes i know you had casualties too and its ridiculous to compare losses however the difference in scale is enormous and also there is the rapes... I have worked with rape victims and all i can say is that the 17 year old girl that was killed was the lucky one...
Maybe this problem is something that only you cypriots can understand but one thing is very clear to anyone with two cells of brain and that is, Turkey's invasion was no peace mission to save Tc's. It was a longly planned plot to regain control over Cyprus and Tc"s where tools used to achieve their means and in that sense i see Tc's just as much victims of Turkey as Gc's.
This is how i see things from the outside. I have no affinity to Greek or Greekcypriots. I know a few but not well enough to call them friends. I live with a Tc girl and often socialize with all her family. I'm not very popular among some of then due to my opinion however MOST of them agree with me and some have confirmed the documented atrocities as they have witnessed them...
I know that i will be flamed next by the more radical on this board and i must say that i have read some pretty sick posts regarding the crimes committed by the turks, but insults do not change facts... they never did and i have no answer for those...

I still have family members missing and unaccounted for since the 60's. I can go on with more personal accounts, but I'd rather not give the GC fascists here the satisfaction.
