Are you sure your Mr Hilmi Akil (forgive me, his name sounds like a psychotic Bond villain) isn't the one spouting propaganda. After all, he is, without a shadow of a doubt, completely biased if he's on the TunRecNC payroll?

EXCLUSIVE: Religious artifacts in Cyprus in 'great peril'
Hilmi Akil, the Washington representative for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, dismissed the Helsinki Commission report as "a propaganda exercise," adding that Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot leaders recently agreed to set up a joint committee on cultural heritage matters.
"The theft of cultural artifacts takes place everywhere, including South Cyprus," he said. "What we're objecting to is destruction, which has happened on both sides of the island, is being portrayed as something that only Turkish Cypriots have done."

Surely none of the officials from the RoC who provide them with the "full story" don't actually get paid for it, they do it for charity
Is this the best you can do? If you've got evidence that the independent Helsinki Commission is biased then let's see it. Now.
It's easy to come up with groundless accusations of propaganda – like your Mr Akil did; representing, as he does, a cowboy regime, outside of the law.
But if you really think Akil is right, back up his wild claims with some hard facts. If not, stop wasting time trying to justify the unjustifiable - to yourself, let alone to anyone else. Because the world won't believe you.
What are you, a barbarian?
