Not even an inch!

This is the land where our indigenous ancient ancestors roamed and toiled the land for millenniums… go find YOURS because it’s not on Cyprus!

So we will keep 37% of our island 40.000 troops in place, thousands of settlers and the status quo...dont say we never offered you anything.

You’ll play games for as long as you’re allowed to and then you’ll face reality.

I don’t think so. It’s the RoC that’s getting stronger every year… financially, militarily, and in every other way possible whereas the TCs are regressing! Will you ever wake up?

What ever you say but dont hold your breath we prefer the TRNC with all its problems to being forced to live as a minority in a GC state run by GCs.

Whatever you say but don't hold your breath. The civilised world – of which free Cypriots are a part – prefer the status quo with all its problems to being forced to give up a part of Cyprus to a Turkish state run by Turkey.

Viva nothing. I endure the status quo. I don't celebrate it.

I, a Cypriot, endure because I want the island whole again. You, a Turkish so-called Cypriot, celebrate because you are happy to accept the continued division of the island. And also because you take perverse pleasure from the sadness of those whose allegiance is to the entire island.

I'm reminded of the story of Solomon and the two women, arguing over who was the real mother of a baby. Solomon proposed slicing the baby in two so the women could have half each.

One woman (the jealous imposter) agreed but the other screamed 'no'. The wise Solomon handed the child to her, knowing that she was the real mother.

Because I am a real Cypriot, I endure. Because you are an imposter, you celebrate.

But you have things ocnfused only one woman was the real mother and therefore the owner of the baby unlike our situation where we both own this island, if you cannot live together without dominating and discrimianting against me then we are better off living in different parts of the island where we will not live in conflict. Your greed for the whole island knows no bounds but you still have to come to terms with the fact that you to contributed to its division and its perpetuation.

Both? Me and you? All its people own this island.

No one should dominate and discriminate and everyone should live where they want to; in whatever part they come from or want to live. That's what we should all be working towards.

My wanting the island whole isn't greed; it's a thoroughly natural, healthy and 'whole'some desire.

I didn't personally contribute to the division (don't blame me just because you think I come from one particular community; that's what Oracle does to TCs and look at the mess she gets into).

But I do acknowledge that Cypriots from both Christian and Muslim backgrounds contributed to Cyprus's division; and help perpetuate its division also. But the biggest culprit is Turkey and its military. And the animosity on Cyprus that continues to this day stems, in no small measure, from this. You have to come to terms with that fact.
