"at the end of the day" The most meaningless idiotic phrase ever used in conversation. When people say it to me I respond "it gets dark". I get a funny look but they rarely repeat it.

I hate what is happening to the English language especially its corruption by our cousins across the sea.

" How do you do". - "I'm good" is the "modern" reply. NO NO you are "well", I never suggested you are bad!!!!!!!!

"He DOVE into the water" NO NO he DIVED into the water, DOVE is a phucking bird.

The classic one was a British teacher who in correcting a pupil's work wrote in red ink "you should of ... etc" instead of "you should HAVE ....etc"

My language is far from perfect but some mistakes/corruptions are inexcusable.
