EROGLU EVALUATES CYPRUS ISSUE

Postby halil » Sat Jul 18, 2009 8:24 pm

Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu evaluated the ongoing negotiations process during a visit paid to him by foreign parliamentarians on the island.
Here the Prime Minister said that the world was working towards the removal of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

‘We must act with the knowledge that the statehood of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is strengthening the hand of the Turks of Cyprus at the negotiating table otherwise we will find ourselves in the times before 1974. If we hadn’t paid the price we paid for the establishment of our state, the existence of the Turks on the island would cease to have existed,’ said Mr. Eroglu.

He added that it was there duty to support President Mehmet Ali Talat who is representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at the Cyprus negotiations process.

Here Mr. Eroglu said that the world had mobilized to get rid of the state that had been set up and the United Nations Security council had given out orders for world states not to accept the existence of this state.

Also speaking during the visit the Azeri MP Mr. Sabir Rustemhanli said that they always visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with great excitement and always hope that a solution will be found to the Cyprus problem.

Noting that new problems always emerged in the Turkic world Mr. Rustemhanli gave the example of the problems being lived by the Uygur Turks.
‘As we continue to remain silent the world will force us to do what they want’.
Pointing to the fact that new states were being formed with the breaking up of the Soviet Union, the Azeri MP said ‘although the world is staying impartial to this fact, they are pressurizing for a solution to be found in Cyprus to unite the two sides.

He said with this pressure, world countries are ignoring the fact that with the island being united it will pave the way for a new genocide to be started and with the annihilation of the Turks of Cyprus the island will be handed over to the Greek Cypriot side.

Interesting acknowledgement by Eroglu. Why would the whole world want to do that, do you think?

He's really got it in for the world hasn't he?

Maybe because the world just doesn't swallow the propaganda fed to the people in Turkey and the north about 'genocide' and 'annihilation'.

It seems to me that the annihilation of the Turkish Cypriots is now complete , mama Turkey simply dismisses them , they are now one and the same , Turks of Cyprus.
Come on now T/Cs stand up and be counted , you are not surely going to accept the annihilation of the Turkish Cypriot ?

Many T/Cd in the UK that I know are reacting adversely to their forced extinction by Turkey. Stand up and be counted , you are not Turks of Cyprus any more than I'm a Greek of Cyprus . Your motherland is Cyprus dont just take it stand up and protest.

Miltiades, good luck tomorrow my friend.

From now on, I'm not going to play this idiot Dervis Eroglu exterminationist game on our people by using the term "Turks of Cyprus" , because there is no such thing, instead, I will call them "Aliens of Cyprus".!

It is "the world against us" stage of the game. Once a TMT man always a TMT man, he should meet some of his counterparts in the south and have a party.

The renaming of the Turkish Cypriots has been the biggest diplomatic blunder by Turkey.

Since the whole world is insisting on a solution BY Cypriots FOR Cypriots what role for the 'Turks of Cyprus'?

This is the reason Eroglu feels the weight of the whole world on his shoulders.
