So, for the benefit of the dreamers, what's your strategy for removing the Turk by force?

War, thats what force means. Do you think if Turks were going they would be carrying on the way they are now. What do you think the UK or the USA are comming to help, maybe Israel the Turks best friend, dream on!

I know what force means. I've asked you for a strategy not a definition. See my previous post to this. Please address my list of questions. Convince me that war is an option and a viable strategy.

so the fact we are much more cleaver then the turks and are able to join eu with a country with 10 times less population and the jelousey of the turks them having to take our lands by force... we will win politically we will eventually drive the turks out using our brains and in politics... if we could of done something militarily im sure gcs would of done ages ago done something about it

Well said. We , the Cypriots , have already scored a political victory with serious repercussions on the prospects of the "trnc" ever being considered for recognition .
As a member of the most successful union of nations ever we have the political might of a giant at our side let us not cause any ripples with talks of waging a war.

War is not easy to say the least. But Greece and Cyprus should have an effective deterent against Turkey, which they dont. When someone flies over your islands freely and with no response, or drills off your coast and there is no response, then eventually these guys will be landing soldiers at ayia napa to steal the cash registers filled with euros..If we dont have the balls to slap out of the sky 3-4 turksih f-16's or shoot and sink a turkish frigate of the coast of cyprus then what makes you think we can fight a war effectively...

Defending our selves against further aggression is our moral duty . Starting a war against Turkey isn't smart !

It's not depressing vragaman. You know damn well how turkish troops will be removed from Cyprus.

Hint: How did they come in the first place?

I will pick up on your cue wise, beer-drinking, voluminous-bladder blessed Kurupetos ...

Yup! It's back to the Greeks. The Greeks have the key to our release.

Turkey cares not a jot for the TCs and it cares even less for GCs ... nay, it does not even recognize the GCs and their RoC!

So ............

Let Turkey have Greece's attention for negotiations. Turkey's aim is to feel equal to the Great Greeks, after all. It demands their attention; what with dogfights over the Aegean and then stealing half of Cyprus from right under its nose!

Greece will demand complete withdrawal of Turkish troops, no guarantees, and see the Turks off!

Are you serious??

Greece cant even control its 'so-called' sea territories.

A Turkish President once said:

"We could destroy the whole Greece but they'd also burn us 'till Sivas" (Sivas is a city at the centre of Turkey)

So the conclusion is: Turks would not be afraid of Greece. A war would be costly but still, Turks would be the winning side, if you could call this as a 'win'

Anyway, Greece knows that they can not remove Turkish Army from Cyprus, thats why they are passive.

No, can't nuke them, but could knock their warplanes out of the sky. One question: what became of the S300's ? (no need to answer literally, it is meant as a rhetorical question).
