says who?

Not me. You changed my quote. My mum is from the 'north', you cretin.

You must be getting me confused with someone else. I don't blindly support anyone who slaughters anyone else. Is that what you do, if your press and politicians tell you to?

How can I be sure? Because you say so? Because your press and politicians tell you?

Show me his exact quote, then. Not what the press and politicians 'interpreted'... As we've discovered, they do a lot of interpreting for feeble minds. But I am interested in the facts. And I really wished you were too.

I’d hate to be in Abbas’ shoes… he has to change his story at every port he lands in the faint hope that someone or something will help his desperate people who are at the mercy of the murderous Israelis! :(

It seems to me that the difference between the Palestinians and the Cypriots is that the former are prepared, perhaps due to their desparation, certainly due to their mindset, to use violence in their struggle to free their lands, while the latter are prepared only to use peaceful means; through the UN, the EU, through the courts and through lobbying. Certainly the Cypriot strategy is more noble and more civilised. Whether it proves, ultimately, to be more effective only time will tell.
