There was a road block with lots of cops in the sea front road.
Traffic was blocked in both the directions between the laiki bank and the .DOT british restaurant, which is next to esperanza and the loft bar.
Anyone knows what happened?
Did they rob the bank?

2 years ago i was in Limassol and at early hours i was going home through the seaside street.(80 per cent of my blod was alcochol!!) . My speed was 70km/hr and a young policeman stopped me saying in signle "why are you violate the speed limit?" I had already given him my Greek driving licence -he continued " are you Kalamaras?" I said yes- i do not know why i replied this way. He said "ok go and do not do this again" I took my licence back and before i left i asked the policeman " are your superiors allowing you to speak to drivers in single?" He said " no Sir, sorry for this" I told him " ok i am going but do not do this again"

The policeman was speaking Greek of course (even in a dialog) and not charlies language!!1

My Greek is good , I can assure you , you would not be able to distinguish between a Cypriot speaking Greek and an Athenian . Give me a call to find out !!

According to the Politis web site a 67 year old man was shot a number of times outside a cafe/restaurant on the sea front at quarter past midnight. Could be that.
