Turkey to start oil exploration off the cost of Cyprus

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Its about time that Greece and Cyprus play serious, a swift barrage of land to sea exocet missiles, at any turkish frigate in their waters will shut the turks up very quickly

There is a book, title "How to make friends and influence people" which Turkish politicians need to read.

I feel we often forget Kasterorizon has a tremondous effect in limiting the RoT's EEZ.

Had the pleasure of spending a few days there a while back. Very pretty and remarkably large harbour and spent hours and hours wandering steep narrow alleys between near identical houses, so many built in to more or or less the same style. Very quiet and atmospheric place, near Fantasy Island place.

Locals, who call themselves Cassies, number a couple of hundred with thousands more in OZ and US, were remarkably welcoming and near CY in their dialect.

(If anyone goes there can they pass on good wishes to George the taxi-driver (the only one), tell him he has regards from the CY he drove to the rubbish dump (skoubithia) few years ago.)

So, how did you escape from the rubbish dump then?

For some people one lesson is not enough, they need several!

Lesson in what exactly? Turks like to think they easily invaded Cyprus, which is actually a myth ( they have never released the figures of how many of the glorious Turkish Army died).

I'm sure you'll stick behind your computer while making such remarks - you Turks are so hard infront of your keyboard, or when you fight in favorably unequal numbers.

So the struggle of the TCs between 1963 and 1974 against odds of 5 to 1 was just in our imagination. It never happened. Get a life and face reality because if you turn your back on it, it’ll kick you in the butt.
Start another war and you will have your second lesson. You may then learn and not need a third.

I had made arrangement with George the taxi-driver to pick me up later that day. Thank you for your concern and interest mate/matess.

In your calculations of the "odds of 5 to 1", do you include the bombings with napalm by the Turkish air force in 1964?

I see that I touched a raw nerve, otherwise you would not be resorting to absurdity to deflect the question.

Are you actually ignorant of the fact that the TAF bombed the Tylleria region in Cyprus with napalm in 1964? Or are you just in denial?
