Find what the dates of those massacres are and how many people died in them. Then find out when the date the Turks and their TC collaborators started to massacre the Greek Cypriots, and how many Greek Cypriots they massucred.

What you will find is that, as always, it is the Turks who attacked and started killing Greek Cypriots by the 1000s and only after a few 100s of TCs got killed in the war the Turks and TCs started.

Fortunately you don't get to have a say about what happens on OUR side of the island.

So democracy one-person-one-vote can work in every other country, including other multi-ethnic countries. It can even work in Turkey, no problem there, right? But only in Cyprus it can not work.

All the other minorities are perfectly happy with the Greek Cypriots. In fact when they asked them to vote and choose which community they want to belong, 99% of them sided with Greek Cypriots.

In fact if you see who the other minorities in Cyprus are, you will see that it is the Turks who tried to make them disappear:

The Armenians: Most of them came to Cyprus to escape the Armenian Genocide that the Turks were committing against them. Also in the 1960s the TCs forced the Armenians out of their sector of Nicosia.

The Latins: When the Turks captured Cyprus they were either killed or forced to become Muslims. Very few of them remained Christians on the island, and most of them had to practice their beliefs in secrecy.

The Maronites: They were also ethnically cleansed by the Turks during their invasion of 1974.

The fact is that all Cypriots except the TCs want a free democratic Cyprus. The Turks and TCs however never allowed democracy in Cyprus because they want to continue having Ottoman Style privileges on the expense of every other Cypriot.
