Remember going down to the lovely harbour there late one Summer afternoon for a little apperetif. Asked for a large G&T, as one does, and got a very goo...ood measure of G, as again one does in CY. Barman gave me a plate of pickled octopus as a meze. Very nice it was. So I ordered another G&T and something for the barman and got another plate of meze, pickled something and a plate of nuts. To cut a longish story short, this went on, over several rounds 'til mid-night went I crawled back to the apartment (or was it a hotel?) quite happy and well-fed.
