Money from Turkey. This it is!!!

Its all three. Money from Turkey, two states one country.

Yfred-long time i asked Halil to tell me under which passport Talat is travelling abroad and i get no reply. Can you help me on this info?Meantime can you also remind me which is the official currency in North?

Currency is the New Turkish Lira approx 2.5 to the pound.

As far as Talats Passport is concerened, I don't know but I suspect its TRNC. It is accepted by all the countries. They just don't stamp in it. They stamp a piece of paper and then put it in the passport.

Tks. Have you personally ever travelled to any other country exempt Turkey using this TRNC passport or you just heard about that same is accepted?

Me personally no. I have been a Brit since the late 70s but half my family travelled on TRNC passporst to UK no problems at all before they were able to have RoC EU passports.

So now they have RoC EU passports ah old chap? The same rights like every other EU citizen that is ah old boy   Do you have a RoC passport too?

No. I object to it. Only a mere EU/UK one old chap. What?

But your family has RoC passports....right?

Yes and they number about 100.
Any other questions?

Just 1 more.....I was just wondering if your family (not all 100 of them  ) are pro solution or partionists like VP and if they feel that they have the same rights as the GC's do.

All 100 are the same as me. We would like a solution with TC rights enshrined in the constitution fully protected from the murdering thugs ever getting anywhere near them, and I don't mean protected by (RoC)the best police money can buy? Because last time they did that, they joined the thugs, know what I mean?

100?...hmmm that's a herd and in the same village you say?...putting a new meaning of keeping it in the family huh?...

Mehmet Ali Talat to Turkish daily HURRIYET newspaper (04.04.05). In his interview, regarding acquiring Cyprus Republic´s passport, Talat said: “I have been offered to acquire Cyprus Republic´s passport. I have always rejected it. In those years I was repairing refrigerators, but I did not get a passport thinking that it might be used against me in the future. I feel bad. Had the Annan plan been approved and peace regained, now I should have been issuing passports”.

There really isnt a way to have deterrents in a constitution, the constitution of 1960, had more deterents then any of heard of before could be used today and we would have a different outcome. why even specify in a new constitution that there is a majority and a minority. why not just have a north and south cyprus states with a federal government This racist view that ethnicity has to be built in is a big detrement to the constitution and cyprus. What happens in the future with a free europe when a minority of english immigrate, they of 10 percent or asians or polish, and they are permanent residents do we rewrite the constitution again. Can it be possible that a Polish person living in cyprus wont be able to vote or run for office, it doesnt make sense

And what will be the penalty when your NeoPartitionist friends start blowing up TC kids in their schools and blame the other side just to try and make the case that there should be a permanent partition, and remain as a EU member at the same time, because you know these people will have no problem killing their neighbours kids and just call it "collateral damage" or just plain "cost of doing business". So tell me VP, what would be the penalty on the TC community if such acts should occur, because you know, if you put such conditions in the constitution that B will happen if A happens, then guess what, A will happen by your own NeoPartitionist friends. This is nothing but a thinking of a child with your demands as to what should happen if so and so should happen. This is no game, because all games can be manipulated, therefore no such items should be in the constitution, because there will be too much temptation to make it happen by your friends..?

The penalities can come in many shapes and forms like financial penalities by the EU or the return of the TA in part if conditions deteriorate. You are making excuses to allow the GCs the free hand to do as they wish you think you are so clever why dont you try and utilize your brain on behalf of the TCs fora chnage and how they can have inbuilt conditions into the constititution that will act as deterrants to both sides so they do not try to vere from the rules and bend matters in their own favor therefore push to one side the other community. Your surrendering attitude is clear indication of how dangerous you really are and reveals your true intentions, it is sickening to a degree that you would have no problem shooting those TC children yourself and declaring you are TC to prove your point, you are one sick dude.

Never has the meaning of "mickey mouse " passports has such a poignant ring around it.
The RoC PASSPORT ACCEPTED THE WORLD OVER !
In fact I dont use a passport anymore I just use my Cypriot ID valid through out Europe .
The once " bright dream" , following the failure of the AP , that recognition is just around the corner , has not only
faded away but more poignantly has turned into a real life nightmare following the ECJ earlier this year.
All unfounded hopes must now be extinguished .
I'm particularly perturbed that Turkey is pushing on with total assimilation of the occupied part even denying the indigenous T/Cs their true identity and grouping them with the settlers .
I think we shall hear more vehement voices of dissent coming out from the occupied lands.

What more can I say. I know people who travelled to UK and other parts of EU with TRNC passport. It really is not a big deal with anyone else except the dreaded RoC!
But I shall try to find out soon which passport Mr T travels with.

You can also travel to the States as well.

If you have problems with other places, all you have to do is get a temporary Turkish passport and you are off.

I don't see the big deal with getting an id from the Republic of C....s

I am almoast sure that you are wrong. I can not imagine an EU authority to accept a passport of a state which not exist!!Some other trick is working here-maybe a Turkish passport ?

Epsilon, both my parents who are now deceased, have travelled to London on a TRNC passport for about 10 times each. Believe me it is used. They just don't stamp it. What they do is stamp a piece of paper with the information and just put it inside the passport. Trust me, I know. But I will find out for you what Talat uses.
